About
Jay is a comedy writer, director, actor, and singer-songwriter. His short film My Father’s Wedding, which he wrote and directed, screened at top-tier festivals including HollyShorts Film Festival and the San Diego International Film Festival. His creative direction and narrative design for a single-player RPG won the IndieCade Climate Jam and was featured by NPR and Science Friday.
He graduated in Film and Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and has extensive experience in development and production, having worked at Team Downey and Mandalay Pictures.
As a musician, he is a recipient of a Canada Council for the Arts grant supporting his debut album, set for release in 2026.
His commercial work for institutions such as the University of Toronto Schools is award-winning, and he works closely with brands and companies on creative strategy, promotional campaigns, and content.
